Kathmandu: Today's weather is expected to be partly to generally cloudy throughout the country due to the influence of the monsoon wind. The Meteorological Forecasting Division has reported that light to moderate precipitation accompanied by lightning is currently occurring in certain areas of Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Karnali provinces, and in a few places in the other provinces.

As we move into the afternoon, the weather will remain partly to generally cloudy across the country. There is a possibility of light to moderate rainfall with lightning in some regions of Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces, and in a few areas of the other provinces.

It is crucial to remain vigilant as the Division has issued a warning about the potential occurrence of heavy rainfall with thunderbolts in one or two places in Koshi, Madhes, Lumbini, Gandaki, and Sudurpaschim provinces.
